ALIMENTOS JACK'S DE CENTROAMERICA S.A. Visit and lecture at Jack's Industries, the leading industry in Costa Rica of chips, candy bars, snacks and cereals. A family-run business for 40 years, Jack's has been able to innovate their products continuously and is a company all Costa Ricans are proud to have. The plant, located in Pavas, has a total area of 18,400 square meters, generates annually 2,688 metric tons of snacks, 645 metric tons of sorbets and 1,864 metric tons of cereals, covering the entire country with their products.

Special presentation of Mr. Otto Guevara, former presidential candidate and president of one of the most important political parties in Costa Rica. Mr. Guevara is a lawyer and is currently a member of the congress.
Our Bussiness group of 2006, had the honor of receiving the current president of Costa Rica, Dr. Oscar Arias, Nobel Peace Price and the most important political figure of all times in Costa Rica.
Our Bussiness group of 2005, had the honor of receiving the then president of Costa Rica, Dr. Abel Pacheco, directly at the Presidential Palace.
We have had the pleasure of counting with the participation of Mr. Armando Gonzalez for many years, Editing Director of La Nacion Newspaper that presents an overview of Costa Rican history that is very much appreciated by our students.

UNIVERSITY FOR PEACE Headquartered in Costa Rica, the United Nations-mandated University for Peace was established in December 1980 as a Treaty Organization by the UN General Assembly, the mission of the University for Peace is: "to provide humanity with an international institution of higher education for peace with the aim of promoting among all human beings the spirit of understanding, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, to stimulate cooperation among peoples and to help lessen obstacles and threats to world peace and progress, in keeping with the noble aspirations proclaimed in the Charter of the United Nations."
