Cherie Byrd, an expat, is originally a third-generation native of St. Petersburg, Florida She brings an entrepreneurial history of success in Florida, as well as her 15-year, corporate marketing executive background with two top-10 life insurance companies. It has been almost two years since she personally made the leap and experienced first-hand - exploring, investing, moving and living (but not quite retiring!) in Costa Rica.

Main speaker on the seminars as well as tour leader, her first hand knowledge on all the challenges she experienced relocating to Costa Rica make her an invaluable member of our team.

Giovanni Bassey

One of the most respected Marine Biologists in Costa Rica, Giovanni is our indispensable colaborador in all our Biology programs.

Giovanni holds a Masters Degree in Marine and Coastal Sciences, is a diving instructor and invited professor of UCR, Organization for Tropical Studies,. University for Peace, University of California and worked for 10 years as resident Marine Biologist of the Guanacaste Conservation Area (ACG).
